Recent decisions of the Administrative Courts (indicatively Decisions no. 3037/2018 of the Thessaloniki Administrative Court of First Instance as well as no. 5973/2018 of the Piraeus Administrative Court of First Instance), ruled that the cut-backs in pensions and wages, that were pertained as obligations in the Memorandum concerning the Greek economy, infringe a number of constitutional provisions as well as the 1st Protocol of the ECHR.

Actually, it does not constitute a visa, but a five-year residence permit granted to third-country nationals who either acquire real estate estimated worth 250,000€ or they invest to capitals from 3 to 100 million euros in infrastructure projects or in Greek enterprises capacity of 150 jobs positions.

The lawsuit of 360 pensioners against the National Bank of Greece (NBG) regarding the funding provided by LEPETE (Ancillary Account for The Personnel Of National Bank of Greece), which had been blocked by NBG, was recently upheld by the Court of First Instance of Athens. The relevant decision was issued on 17.09.2018 and the pensioners were represented at the court proceedings by Prof. Emer.
