The HEALTHWORLD Conference once again proved its position as a premier health policy forum for constructive dialogue between experts from the academic/scientific community, government, medical community, HC sector professionals, representatives of international organizations and policy-makers.
The theme of this year’s conference defined its content that focused precisely at the time when our country is approaching the exit of the memorandums and set the base for various pertinent discussions in key chronic issues in the health sector, but also to the new challenges that have arisen in the years of the memorandum. The necessity of setting a road map in HC with patient centered policies that ensure unimpeded access to HC services and also a stable environment that will allow the introduction of innovative therapies and medicines in the country was among the issues discussed in depth by approximately 400 delegates that took part at the discussions, during both conference days.
The Director of the Insurance and Labor Committee of the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce, Professor Emeritus & International Arbitrator, Mr. Konstantinos Kremalis, participated in the section "Medical Insurance Contracts as a Means of Effective Health Care Budget Control".
