1st European Hospital Conference

The 1st European Hospital Conference  debuted during Medica 2011 on 18th of  November  at the Messe Düsseldorf. The event, was targeted towards hospital decision-makers and was organized in cooperation with the European Hospital and Healthcare Federation (HOPE), the European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM) and the European Association of Senior Hospital Physicians (AEMH).
Subjects of the Conference were the existing  policies in  European hospitals  regarding  budget restrictions and the  European  Union’s Directive 2011/24/EU on the Application of Patients’ Rights in Cross-Border Healthcare and how it will impact hospitals and patients in the European Union.  Among the distinguished speakers  was  the minister of Health of Luxembourg Mr Mars Di Bartolomeo, and  Greece was represented by the Member of  EEMYY Dr Dimitris Kremalis, specialising in Health and Medical Law.
 The event was attended by 165 registered participants , representatives of collective institutions and superior hospital executives, among which the Chairman and the Vice-president of EEMYY Giorgos Stathis edand Grigoris Roumeliotis and the member of company Gogo Oikonomopoulou   (General Hospital Elpis)
